d11/d11r (AGE): By way of exception the original EB 81.2 questionnaire asks for MONTH and YEAR OF BIRTH (D11a/b) instead of AGE (in years). The dataset only includes the derived variable indicating years of age. 94 respondents from seven countries (BE, LU, GB, MT, SK, SI, HR) are coded ´98´ in d11, i.e. representing outliers in terms of age (distribution for OCCUPATION in d15a is relatively regular and not age-specific. Potentially these are respondents with DK/NA answers to year and/or month of birth. Please notice that in the categorized age variables (d11r1 to d11r_3) as provided by TNS, these cases fall into the highest age category, i.e. are treated as correct answers to years of age.
