ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research) is planning a webinar about data from NAHDAP (National Addiction & HIV Data Archive Program).
This workshop will educate researchers on how to find information about restricted-use data on NAHDAP Website and how to apply online for access to these data through ICPSR’s Data Access Request System (IDARS). The objectives of the webinar are to:
- Describe why NAHDAP distributes restricted-use data.
- Understand the general process of making a data access request.
- Review the main pages of the IDARS application.
- Discuss the frequently asked questions that arise as researchers complete the application.
