The Eurobarometer survey is designed to provide regular monitoring of public social and political attitudes in the EU through specific trend questions. Therefore, the general aim of EB is to know the attitudes and evaluations of European citizens about large general themes. The questions concern to the European integration issues, but sometimes they regard also specific problem about single country or common problems of economic, political or social nature.
The arguments of Eurobarometer 93.2 are as follows:
- Europeans, Agriculture and the CAP: importance of agriculture in the EU, opinion on agricultural policies such as the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the role of farmers in the EU, awareness of food logos, and rural areas and forests
- Making our food fit for the future – Citizens’ expectations: food buying preferences, sustainable food characteristics and preferences, food fraud
- Attitudes of Europeans towards tobacco and electronic cigarettes: smoking habits regarding boxed cigarettes, hand-rolled cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipe, water pipe, oral/chewing/nasal tobacco, electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco products, and cannabis products.
