EB - Eurobarometer
The Flash Eurobarometer is an European cross-national survey research programme on attitudes, values and beliefs of european citizens. The survey has been conducted since 1987 but unlike Standard Eurobarometer is limited in respect of sample used and provides information on special topics when required by the European Commission.
The arguments of Flash Eurobarometer 234 are as follows:
- Europeans’ awareness of the support received in the framework of EU regional Policy;
- Awareness of the benefits obtained from this policy;
- Europeans’ agreement with the notion that EU Regional Policy should mainly serve to help poorer regions to catch up with the more affluent ones;
- Europeans’ agreement with the principle of subsidiarity and the involvement of different stakeholders in the decision-making processes;
- Priorities of the EU Regional Policy, both today and in the future.
